Plating

Our state-of-the-art plating department provides a wide selection of plating processes. Options include nickel plating,stripe and spot gold selective plating and selective reflow tin plating. We plate both reel to reel contacts and solid strip raw materials. We also have the capability to barrel plate single piece parts with copper, nickel and bright pure tin. The skill of our workforce combined with computer controlled processes used in plating consistently results in products which meet the highest quality standards for electrical conductivity, durability, and resistance to harsh environments.

 
 

Stamping

Our stamping department employs high speed, high accuracy progressive stamping dies and presses. Product types include socket contacts, formed and flat pins as well as shorting and square wire contacts. Our rigorous quality inspections and in process vision systems ensure all critical features are within specification.

Computer controlled processes monitor all aspects of the manufacturing process, including material handling, die lubrication, packaging and product sampling. Our processes are continuously monitored by a highly skilled and experienced production staff to consistently produce electrical contacts which meet the highest quality standards for mechanical and electrical performance.


 

JAE Oregon Injection Molding

With a dedicated, highly trained and quality oriented workforce, the molding department at JAE Oregon operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to produce over 15, 000,000 electrical connectors per month. Utilizing over 30 injection molding machines and state of the art peripheral equipment, engineered resins with properties suitable for electrical connectors are molded to satisfy the varying demands of our global customers.

Our dedication to continuous improvement is demonstrated by the use of the most modern and energy efficient molding , material drying, and process control equipment available.


 

Automated Assembly

Programmable automated assembly machines produce pin header connectors and pin and socket connectors used in harness assemblies. The computer integrated processes and automated in-process inspections supported by our highly skilled operators make our Assembly department the best in the business. Predictive maintenance of equipment guarantees minimal down time and ensures record on-time delivery.
